On Tuesday, the Binghamton University Men’s Soccer Team visited our 5th-grade classes to participate in fun activities that included read alouds, trivia and soccer-building skills with students in the gymnasium. The classes had a fun time and enjoyed the opportunity to ask questions about what it takes to be a college athlete. According to the athletes, they had “an amazing experience” and “look forward to hopefully doing it again.” We would like to thank our Community Schools BU intern, Jasmine Schrom, for working with the university to bring the team to our school!
