JC participates in observance of World Suicide Prevention Day

One of our community partners, Broome County Suicide Awareness For Everyone (BCSAFE), is hosting the 3rd annual Suicide Prevention and Awareness Campaign - "Chalk the Walk, Have the Talk" to bring the community together and create sidewalk art in observance of World Suicide Prevention Day.
The goal is to beautify sidewalks and pavement with messages and images of hope and resilience to promote suicide prevention, mental wellness and stigma reduction.

student volunteers that included members of the girls soccer, volleyball and cheerleading teams, along with several staff members, gathered to create positive messages in front of our high school entrance.
