On October 18, Ryne Shelton, an Information Systems Security Officer and Classified Cybersecurity expert for Lockheed Martin visited Deborah Darling's 6th-grade STEM class. October is Cybersecurity month and Oct. 17-22 is Cybersecurity Career Awareness Week. Mr. Shelton spoke about his cybersecurity duties, how he develops security plans and creates cyber awareness trainings. He also talked about the importance of creating a strong password and developing password protection habits.
