JC graduate-turned-lawyer visits JCMS Liberty Partnership students

Keegan Coughlin, a lawyer from Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP, visited our middle school Liberty Partnership students yesterday morning. Coughlin, an alumnus of the Johnson City Class of 2010, spoke about his experience working with clients on wills, trusts and estates. He also shared important information about the hard work, dedication and successful bar exam required to become a lawyer. He emphasized taking AP Government classes and AP Social Studies classes in school and credits his JC math classes for teaching him how to problem-solve. Mr. Coughlin earned his undergraduate degree from SUNY Geneseo and earned his graduate degree from Syracuse University. We thank him for returning to his roots to speak to our students.
