Local author Luke Kaczynski visited our 3rd-grade classes today to read his storybook "E-J's Town" a story written and illustrated by Mr. Kaczynski that talks about the history of the Endicott-Johnson Shoe Factory, our area carousels, George F. Johnson, "The Square Deal," and more. He also shared some historical artifacts from our area and even wore a pair of 70 year-old shoes manufactured in the EJ Shoe Factory that looked as if they were made yesterday! We thank Mr. Kaczynski for sharing his knowledge of JC history and the surrounding area with our students!
