Kristin Lombardini's 4th-grade class recently learned about the geography of New York state, from the Adirondacks and Finger Lakes, to the state capital and Long Island. The class finished the unit by making a fun art project using some flour, water and green food coloring. The students formed the mixed ingredients into the shape of New York and textured it to include mountains, valleys and rivers.
