Seniors Ayshah Almashni, Jeannette Bensley, Andy Ta and Kaylin Mazyck collaborated this school year to raise funds for breast cancer awareness. The students sold wristbands, necklaces, cups, cookies and more during one of our home football games this fall.
Almashni presented a check in the amount of $200 to JC Connects Coordinator Andrea Hankey today and all proceeds will go to METAvivor, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness of advanced breast cancer and equity in research and patient support.
Hats off to these amazing students for coming up with the project and raising funds for such an important cause. Wildcat proud!
