Our Spanish III students had the opportunity to show off their foreign language fluency today by taking part in in a team debate.
Team 1, represented by sophomore Anthony Mazzatti, spoke in Spanish about the environment in and out of school and shared thoughts and ideas about school meals. Team 2, represented by sophomore Emery Guzyk, spoke in Spanish about ideas for more afterschool activities and anti-bullying efforts.
Both students spoke in front of a panel of adult judges who graded the speakers based on content, delivery/fluency, grammar, vocabulary and teamwork, as well as how well the speakers answered questions that were delivered to them in Spanish.
